Tyfany Williams, a.k.a. Author Tyfany Janee is a publisher, best-selling author, copywriter and founder of Own Your Mark Writing. Born in Washington D.C. She grew up in Prince George's County, Maryland. She writes in the genres of Self-Help, Poetry, Contemporary African American Fiction, and Romance. She lives for the written and spoken word. There's a true passion that lies behind her prose.

Her first publication, The Invitation to Journey Through a Conscious Mind, a collection of poems written into themes on love, relationships, and self-identity, set to introduce the world to her words. Her second publication debut in an anthology, Finding Joy In The Journey produced by the visionary Vernessa Blackwell. Tyfany authored a poetic devotional titled, “Wash & Go” that vulnerably shared insight about her failed marriage to help others heal.

Her publishing company, Own Your Mark Writing is dedicated to producing honestly enticing reads, promoting authors, transforming marketing copy of creative brands, and teaching aspiring or young writers. Our mantra is to own your mark! Our approach focuses on creative writing, content writing and copywriting through coaching, done-for-you services and education. We work with creators, wellness advocates, and change makers because the products / services they promote are motivational, life-changing, innovative, legacy builders, charitable, and shape society for future generations.

Tyfany's work strives to shed light on current and relative issues that make up the black existence, turned into fiction, poetic, or romantic stories. She devours inspiration wherever she can get it, from cult classics to just about everything she can see.

When she's not writing, you'd most likely find her taking on the feats of a Mom, hanging out with her broke best friends lol (her sons), or reading a good book. Trying to find time for self-care. Binge watching law and medical dramas or enjoying the rare occasion of doing absolutely nothing.
